...from the bonfire! this delicious bit of wood came off an outbuilding at the farm and was put on the bonfire pile...until i saved it from a fiery end. i like it the way it is, there's wood on three sides that makes it look 'framed'. i don't know whether to keep it as it is (i think it would look very cool hanging in my new kitchen in a sort of drift-woody way) or use it as the basis of a new-ground-for-me-mixed media piece. i've been wanting to branch (geddit?) out onto wood for some time. hmm. dunno. any thoughts?
a good save if you ask me. I would have rescued it too.
