winner 1: fat eighth bundle |
winner 2: layer cake |
winner 3: charm pack |
can i also say a massive thank you to everyone who comments on my blog - i really appreciate the encouragement and lovely things people say about my work. it's truly humbling whenever i receive a message telling me that i inspire people - that just feels amazing. thank you.
so, enough of that sentimental claptrap, you're here for the giveway, aren't you!
simple rules, 3 prizes.
anyone can enter from all over the world.
to have one chance at the cherry, simply leave a comment telling me what you would call your very own debut fabric collection.
to have another nibble, follow this blog and then leave a comment telling me you have done so.
if you'd like to follow me on twitter (i'm @lusummers) please do so and tell me, that will count as chance number 3 to win!
(please note: i have had a few people in the past letting me know they've found it difficult to leave comments for me, so i've disabled the moderation thingy and you no longer have to fill in the weird word box doo-dah either, so it should be super easy now)
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember to leave your email address. if i have to search for you in more than 3 clicks, i'll choose another winner.
you have until midday (BST) next monday, april 2nd to leave your comments and the winners will be announced in the afternoon. or whenever i've actually got time that day :)
winner 1 will receive a fat eighth bundle - that's a fat eighth of all 27 prints.
winner 2 will receive a layer cake which has 42 ten inch squares.
winner 3 will receive a charm pack which is made up of 42 five inch squares.
GOOD LUCK!

I'm a happy follower!
I'd call my fabric line "Impossible Dream" because it would truly be impossible for me to design fabric.
Margaret
mcglen8[at]gmail[dot]com
I would call my line Dahlia. I would be inspired by the colourful bounty and the layers and textures of the Dahlia flower. I love them so. Thanks so much Lu xx
jessconsunji@bigpond.com
I'm a follower via My Yahoo. I've been having problems with Google the last couple of days, including leaving comments, so thanks for disabling the word thingy and all that.
Margaret
mcglen8[at]gmail[dot]com
I'm so pleased for you that you have created with collaboration! Your prints look perfect and always charming!
Wishing you many more prints!
Love your fabric!
If I designed anything (not likely!) I'd probably name it after my girlie, Katie Cakes. (Then I could have a Katie Layer Cakes!)
Just started following you on twitter!
Naming an imaginary fabric line that doesn't even exist in my mind is a tough one. I'd probably name it after whatever was my favorite song/band at the time. Thanks for the chance to win! Love this line!
figure8angel [at] gmail [dot] com
Following!
Followed you on Twitter
Fabric designer I'm not! I'd much rather drool over your fabulous creations, but in the spirit of your gorgeous, generous giveaway, I'll play along and name my fabric collection Smart Stuff :)
I'm usually a silent stalker here, but am definitely a happy follower :)
Adorable fabric. Love your designs! If I had a line, I'd have to call it "Sew Cute." Not very original ... but works since it would have to be cute, cute, cute!
swnblog {at} gmail {dot} com
I follow your blog through my blog reader!!!
swnblog {at} gmail {dot} com
I think I'd have to call a fabric collection Any Ideas? since that's so far down the creative process as to be unthinkable! Love yours tho'! Dose that count?
YOu appear all the time in my reader so I guess I'm following you- Yay!
My fabric line would be called LOVE. Thanks for the chance.
I started following you.
Love that fabric, can't wait to see it.
Hmmm ...
I think I would name my fabric line, "Whole 'Lotta Happy". Wouldn't that be fun?!? Maybe some day! Thanks for a first chance at some of you lovelies!!
I follow you {@knittybitties} on Twitter :).
I follow your blog now too! :D
I would really love to win one of these. Thank you for the chance. If I designed a fabric line I would call it A Touch Of Spring and I would have all the colors of Spring in it.
if I were to design a fabric collection, it would be called 'Ingrid on Lexington' and have a very jewel-toned mid-60's, Mad Men-ish feel about it, as my mum (the eponymous Ingrid) lived on Lexington Ave, NY during that time and was a secretary- judging from the photos we have, she could have worked in that office! And the prints she wore are inspirational still.

Thank you specially for making this one international- it's rare and such a treat to be able to take part xx
This is a hard one... How about "romantic fields"? Is probably play with some nice floral patterns, something whimsical.
My Collection would be called "Sunset Dreaming" and would feature the colours you find in a glorious sunset.

I love love love this new line and CAN NOT wait until it comes out. Even if I win one of these precious prizes, I'm still definitely going to buy yardage too!!! If I were to design a fabric line, it would probably have lots of teals and blues in it (my fav color), so I'd probably name it something with blue in the title, like True Blue or Wild Blue Yonder or something like that. I've never really thought about it, though! Haha! Anyhow, great job on this line of fabric. I bet it'll be flying off the shelves!!!
Just started following you, yippee!!

What an exciting opportunity to win some of your lovely fabric! I shall cross my fingers and toes!.... Firstly I thought I could use my name as a starting point for a collection and call it something like 'Rosie cheeks', but perhaps that would be a little too cheeky!....instead I have settled on 'Treetops' as it combines my love of trees with the scope to include lots of other elements...birds, tree houses, stars, etc...
I have already been following your blog for some time :o)
