village

i nipped into one of our local charity shops yesterday with a pocket full 'o change, and came out with this tiny wooden village...masses of little wooden houses, a church, a few shops, some over-sized people, (reminiscent of these necklaces by the small object) a smattering of cute trees and what i'm surmising are horses, despite the fact they look like rhinoceroses. cute overload. i'm thinking of displaying it at christmas on our wooden dresser. i'd give it to the kids...but bugger it, i like it to much for pieces of it to end up underneath the sofa, stuck up the hoover or god forbid up one of arthur's nostrils.
