lotsa pots

i like little pots and cans and boxes of different shapes and sizes - places to hide secrets or just hold pencils...as soon as we bought home these little pots from the supermarket (they held chocolate chips for putting in buns and biscuits) i knew exactly what i was going to do with them!
i covered them with off-cuts of fabric from my notebooks, sprayed the metal lids with spray paint and made some labels using some sturdy card and blackboard paint. everything was done using leftovers from other projects and took all of five minutes to make. so blooming satisfying! if you can't be bothered to make your own, then there are always these that i've been lusting after for a while, but they're not half as colourful :)

Very adorable! I just made one out of my daughter's empty formula can, but with paper. I think your fabric idea is so much better!

lovely re-purposed cans - a very good excuse to go & buy a good many more posh tubs of chocolate chunks too, as of course, you will need to do one for each of your fab. fabric ranges! :o)

I love projects like this that use things you already have... but the results are fabulous. So smart.
