pinned and twittered

all last week i was completely useless. i couldn't be bothered to do a thing, except checking some nice blogs. i've been totally uninspired, even the idea of printing - which is usually the perfect thing to get me going - bored me. i tried several times to do some new projects for the book pitch. disaster. i couldn't get my shit together at all. i'm sure it's because the end of term is nigh and everyone is winding down. anyway...yesterday i pulled myself together to make these pincushions that have been on my to-do list forever. and they came out kinda nice. i think my mojo is back...you can buy them in my etsy shop. (i'd put a link here, but at the moment etsy is down for a while)
also during my lacklustre week i discovered what this twitter malarky is all about. oh bugger, another addiction. i especially love to hear what phil and stephen are having for breakfast and such like. if you would like to follow me on twitter, i've added a thingy on my sidebar :)

Twitter's a bad one for me too... it's the perfect antidote to working at home alone. And a good reminder to read blog posts!

Yes, Twitter has its appeal. It creates an office-like environment for me to break up solitude of day with chit chat. Nice I can shut the door when I have to. Didn't have that luxury when working in a community studio.

I used to be addicted to flickr, now it's twitter. It does help me feel less isolated since I'm home most of the time (I'm recently unemployed) & I also find myself reading more blogs too.

Very nice pin cushions! They look like mini panettones (Italian raisin sweet bread).

Always nice to hear other crafters lose their mojo! There must be a mojo spa where they all go to rest x

Weird, we both had a bummer week at the same time... We're just, like, so, in sync.

Come round soon! I went to Burwash Manor yesterday and it's pretty. The kids clothing shop is yummy and as you know I have no children so I'm going to need you to come. There's a nice toyshop there too and a tearoom I'm pretty sure would do scones and jam.....I think that covers it xx

Just found your blog in a moment of crafting procrastination. I'm off to go follow you on twitter (which I also just discovered and it's very bad for my procrastinating tendencies!)
