after sitting unfinished for ages, i finally completed my folksy upcycle christmas competition piece. i gave you a sneak peak a while back, but here it is in all it's glory: flora mixed media mini quilt. i'm really happy with it, it's got that soft faded old look i was going for, but i've used my more modern imagery on it with my weave and scandi screen prints. if you have a folksy account and you like my piece, i'd be thrilled if you could favourite it! :)

done! x
It's beautiful! I love the way you've incorporated those book pages. Off to Folksy right now!
And of course, I love the title...
wow, it's really beautiful, nice subtle colours, I've not finished mine yet, actually, I've not started, but I know what I'm doing which is the hardest part, right?
Beautiful and I love the use of text. Off to favourite it right now :)
I want this SO MUCH! :)
That is absolutely beautiful. I love the colours.
Absolutely stunning! I wish I could sew like you. At my pace I'll be able to when I'm 80 or so.
Hey Mrs, there's something nice on the Etsy fp right now: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=33414837&ref=fp_feat_8, I noticed your weave fabric straight away!
