the little quilt i made for the folky comp is in an ebay auction and it's up and running - bidding started at a penny for it and i have to say i was pretty worried that it would go for that amount. currently the bidding is at £5.50, so a little more respectable, and a total bargain! it's a tricky thing to do actually, to put your work in an auction - very nerve wracking because what if a piece worth a fair few pounds (i generally sell quilts this size from £75) ends up selling for under a tenner? a lot of effort has been put into all the pieces in the auction and at the end of the day it's for a great cause! so please, please, if you'd like to own an original one of a kind 13" square wall quilt by me - bid bid bid! you can see and bid for it click right here! it would make a brilliant christmas gift for someone who loves and appreciates original work :)
you can view the rest of the auction here: auction pieces
and my piece is here: flora mini quilt

Hi Lucie - whats the link for the auction?
Ah, but we're biding our time. I'm a last-minute-stealth-bidder kinda gal!

Here is the link http://shop.ebay.co.uk/upcyclexmas/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
I'm not finding it.
I tried bidding on ebay a number of years ago and I didn't have the nerves or self-esteem about my work for it. Good luck to you!
Dam dam dam.... I just missed winning your quilt!
Curse you winning bidder! (LOL)
Thank you Lu for taking part in upcycle ... even though if I didn't win .. errrr!
