i love seeing stuff people make out of my fabric, and was especially thrilled to get a message from lena the other day. she attached some photos of this little bag she made out of my sweetheart fabric - look how cute the embroidery is - such an original take on my fabric. in never ceases to amaze me how imaginative people are - i suppose i've seen this so much as 'just' fabric, it's never occurred to me that it's a perfect design to embroider!
in her own words, lena says:
"I am going to tote this little purse at a wedding this weekend....I am going to be a bridesmaid wearing a lavender dress. My 5 year old daughter Maya is already asking me if she can have the purse after the wedding :)"
thanks so much for sharing lena, i hope the wedding was a raging success, and that maya's already having fun with her new bag ;)

Oh that bag's perfect! I'd never seen your heart fabric before.
Hope to see you at another fair one of these fine days...
how sweet lu. i don't think i've seen that fabric of yours, looks lovely. bag looks like it's come from 'accessorize'.
This is just fantastic. Love what she did - so creative! You both are quite an inspiration! Jamie V in MT
