quilt progression...
...so exciting! as i type, summersville strings is on the longarm machine being quilted by my clever mum. i took the opportunity to take some images this morning just before she carried on, and it's just amazing. it's exactly what i pictured while i was making it - i deliberately wanted some nice areas of plain (i toyed with black, but am happy i went with cream) for the quilting to really show up. i cannot wait to get this bound and finished!

Oh Lu, and Lu's mum... your work is absolutely stunning! Really... every time I see a new pic of your fabrics and this quilt it takes my breath away! I want it so badly! I really, really must learn how to quilt... !
Emma, x
it is beautiful!
It looks fabulous!
Gorgeous, LOVE it!
Blimey you are so lucky to have a quilting mum - it's like waving a magic wand over your quilts. I tried to persuade Lissa A at moda to send me some summersville but didn't realise they're not at that stage yet - can't wait to get my hands on some - I'll let you know when I do LOL. Have fun at QM.
