i've had a lovely few million hours quilting this small quilt ready for an improv workshop i'm teaching at the fat quarterly retreat this year. i so rarely do this kind of hand work, it's been a joy to grab some 'free' time between projects and slow down. i've been sitting with the kids and watching all the harry potter films in sequence and stitching while i watch, blissful. i need to get another one pieced in a hurry, we're on film number 4!
in other rather exciting news, i've had some yardage through the post of 'summersville spring', my next line for moda. i haven't taken any good photos yet, but of course i will this week to show you and will probably have a giveaway to celebrate it. stay tuned!
ooh lovely, I'm going to try out an improv quilt next, so thanks for this snippet x
