an update & thank you

i wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who commented on the previous post & on instagram about the minakoko/lecien copy and giving their support. i have good news! i have been assured by lecien that the design in question will be taken off the shelves and website this week. so my emails were a success i am pleased to say. i didn't actually realise how much this was bumming me out until it was 'over', i honestly felt like a weight had been lifted. it effected my work mojo - which, in fairness hasn't exactly come back yet, but hopefully all services will be resumed shortly. first task: design new things and update my etsy shop!

PS...the image above has no relevance whatsoever - i just couldn't post without some colour!

I am so pleased for you and can fully understand how it could effect your mojo
I love the fabric you posted to 'add colour' today as I've been looking for inspiration on block printing some fabric for a Christmas present (though it will be monochrome) ;o)

I'm so pleased to hear this, it restores a little faith in textile companies and reinforces the power of the online community!

These news made me really happy they give a good lesson to those not respecting other people's creativeness.

P.S. I received your book today from Amazon and I just love it!

great news - I am so pleased they did the right thing (although, more than a little disappointed that I don't get to go all "Kill Bill" on them. My yellow leather boilersuit just doesn't get enough wear these days)
