thanks so much for the feedback on the coasters - i will think about all your advice (my favourites were the people who liked them as they were, hehe) but i'm going to have a play and see what happens. i just feel that plain bindings are a bit expected - i like the 'clash' of another pattern, it's a bit of a surprise. we'll see. maybe the weave fabric would be better.
