thank f*ck...

...my art quilt, 'twig', is finished. but by heck, my finger hurts from hand stitching the bindings. but yahoo! thank goodness for some old episodes of 'seapatrol' (how i love that show, please hallmark, hurry up and put the new series on soooooon!) i'm so happy with it, which is quite fabulous in itself because i often dislike my work when it's finished. but i keep peeking at it, trying to take myself by surprise with it, and i still like it. so it's all good.

many thanks for the lovely comments about the other quilt, by the way - it's off the frame now, and last night was spent deciding on binding, (originally we were going to go for a screen printed binding, but it didn't look as good as we hoped, so we've gone for cream) more hand sewing! hopefully full shot pictures soon!
