i *think* that's it...

i was going to go bigger with this but then i stopped and looked at it, and thought 'that's it'. it's turned out  around 50 x 50 inches so around 125cm square and that seemed like a good size. the 'wobbliness' of it while liberating to begin with, got unwieldy towards the end, with lots of unpicking and resewing and generally tearing out of hair and much dispair...WHY won't it lay flat??? i've measured a thousand times! but it's all good. i went through a stage of not liking this very much last night, but this morning, i'm back in love. oh yes.

Hey, what's not to love about this quilt
I love the way it seems to 'grow' from the top RH corner, just as you made it
How are you going to quilt it?

Looks amazing! Despite the fact that I can't sew a wonky line to save myself I love this VERY much! Inspirational.

so so SO amazingly gorgeous!

Utterly fabulous! Wonky = handmade! Anything too perfect usually comes from a depressing sweat shop. I love the "falling in and out of love' bit, we appreciate your honesty.

it really reminds me of Morroco and Arabia - the buildings are all these shapes and the brickwork is really like this. I love it.

It's wonderful - you can really just gaze at it for ages, I would love to be able to see it full size!

I love this! I second that comment on another post about having it printed as fabric. Maybe you could put it on Spoonflower or something.

I'm in love too. It's pure brilliance!!! Wow!

That's because it's brilliant! BTW, wonky is good and i can't sew a perfectly straight seam to save my life and as a result, nothing ever lies perfectly flat!
