i've got completely caught up in olympic fever, and am looking forward to cheering on team GB for the next few weeks...i've just watched poor old tom and pete just miss out on a bronze medal in the men's synchronised diving...and i wasn't just watching for the 6 packs and the teeny tiny swim shorts...no siree, not me.
anyway, moving on...i really really loved this illustration that features on the front cover of this week's waitrose weekend, in fact it was the only reason i picked one up whilst grocery shopping the other day. you'd have to be living underground for the past 6 months not to see the gazillions of fabulous london illustrations around t'internet, but in my very humble opinion, this is one of the best i've seen. it's by andy smith and he's got lots of very cool stuff on his website.

Oooh, cool graphic! And speaking of men in tight outfits, did you see we just won silver in the men's team gymnastics?

That diving was amazing and so disappointing wasn't it. Did you watch the gymnastics OMG that was tense! Couldn't crochet and watch that!

That really is a good illustration. Also watching a lot of Olympics live in on telly. Went to the beach volleyball on Saturday wich was just AMAZING....
