what's been going on?

i'm going to stop apologising for not being a regular blogger because that seems to make me worse. so i'll just let you know what i've been up to lately...

we spent half term in portugal and had a lovely relaxing break. the weather was windy and chilly interspersed with some beautifully warm sunshine and i even had the occasional paddle in the sea which was, well, refreshing. it was nice to be away with all of my boys especially as sam and i had been so busy up 'til we left, we'd barely seen each other. i took lots of images in the old part of lagos of doorways and tiles and have come home inspired and raring to go!

i've been working on some new designs, my etsy shop has been long neglected so it's about time it was licked into shape with some new work and perhaps some culling of older stuff, mainly to make some room...which probably means a sale, so keep your eyes peeled!

i'll leave you with some images of portugal...looking at these makes me wish i was back there, especially on that beach at sunset!

the kids were running down this street before stopping &
shouting at me to see these tiles. am i so predicatble?
these were like a resist, lovely
an old bar near the station
dunno who this little geezer is, but he made me laugh
turquoise green and hot pink? yes please
shut the front door!
weird colour combo i rather like...
on the beach at precisely the right moment
& on the way home on the plane
