hmmm, i'm thinking that perhaps i need some help in keeping me away from the charity shops - i had a rummage in the one i don't go in to too often yesterday and came out well chuffed with this delicious studio meakin coffee set (the pot, sugar bowl, jug and 6 cups and saucers) in the best condition ever, i don't think it's ever been used. the pattern is called dahlia and is from the 60's. have you ever seen a more perfect graphic? a tenner the lot. people, i'm on a freakin' roll!

That is some funky crockery!
That is a great find! I love vintage crockery.
I love it!!! great find.
wow!!! i love it!!
Wow they are lovely. Why do I never find anything like this?
Great find! Isn't it amazing how when you step into a thrift shop (charity shop to you) all guilt about buying things you don't really need falls away and you end up going home with a bagful of wonderful little trinkets for cheap?? I often find myself just stopping by with no particular intention and finding things I can't live without!
Hi,
I just found you on twitter, which leads me to your Etsy-Shop and at the end to your blog.
Just want to tell you, that I love your fabrics!
Hi, it's me again :) I couldn't resist and featured your avenue-design at my blog, which is still very new.
Fabulous colour! I too found some studio meakin - in a blue/green flower - I found a little jug and dish in one charity shop and then in a totally different one I found the matching teapot. I really wanted to jump up and down with excitement but had to suppress it!!!
You have the op shopping gift! jealous here :-)
That's an amazing find – and for a tenner! – I say keep going into the charity shops if this is what you're finding (though remember to leave some lovelies for the rest of us!)
nice pic..

What a fun find. I love coffee pots in those elegant shapes, and amazingly there are still finds like that in jumble sales and charity shops. I picked up a coffee pot and half a dozen cups and saucers for about 6 pounds. Those kind of unexpected finds you stumble across are always the best.
