so, last thursday was a little bit exciting...i received a phone call from my mum when i was scraping carrots for tea...she asked me if i was sitting down...which of course i wasn't...she faffed around (like only my mum can) before telling me that our quilt
i've more to say about the show, but will wait til i've taken some pretty pictures of the fabrics i bought, hmmmm, *drool*. i saw some old chums, met some awesome new ones...it was a terrific couple of days, and was particularly nice spending time with me muvver without someone with sticky fingers demanding our attention, and that's just my husband, hohoho.
*note: although mum and i were thrilled and honoured to be winners, i was slightly less than impressed with the dingy area the quilt was hung - the lighting was appalling...(god that makes me sound horrible, but i'm being honest)
